Abstract
Visualization of the Vodafone D2 Network with ArcView GIS

D2-FVT (Fixed Network Visualisation Tool) is the main tool used to get a general view of Vodafone D2's fixed network. The Esri ArcView GIS 3.2 application can show the network topology, logical and physical views of the fixed network, and all relevant network information such as network elements and the corresponding integrated equipment, network connections, trails and locations, and much more. Also implemented in D2-FVT is a Visio component as an extension to ArcView. Multiple Visio drawings can be generated, for example IP-Network elements and their logical connections in a defined location or logical connections between network elements. A live demo will also take place during this session.
