AbstractUsing ArcInfo for CRM Track: Business, Banking, and Insurance Author(s): Richard Mason With your customers located on a map, you can spot where your most profitable customers are located, calculate accurate drive times for them, undertake insell analysis (see where customers are moving from one distribution area to another), perform gravity modelling calculations, and much more. To do this effectively, accurate and complete addresses of your customers are essential. New customers addresses need to be captured with reference to a standard address database for the country concerned. With an accurate address, an x,y co-ordinate can then be readily added. Using examples of a major car parts retailer, a national building society and a multi-national car dealership, this paper will review the situation and the low level of customer service provided before a GIS incorporating an address management solution was implemented Richard Mason QAS Ltd Goerge West House 2-3 Clapham Common North Side London SW4 0QL United Kingdom Phone: 44 207 498 7777 Fax: 44 207 498 0303 E-mail: richard.mason@qas.com |
