Abstract
Airfield Obstructions Management at the U.S. Air Force in Europe

The United States Air Force in Europe (USAFE) is responsible for tracking obstructions, such as signs, buildings, terrain, and vegetation, that pose potential threats to airbase operations and safety. To support this mission, CH2M HILL has developed a new-generation, ArcGIS-based application to track, analyze, manage, and report obstructions at all USAFE air bases. This tool, fits into USAFE's plans to move toward an Esri-based GeoBase platform.
