Indianapolis Integrates ArcGIS and Master Address Database Track: Application Development Author(s): Chuck Carufel, Rick Hammond Since 1986, Indianapolis and Marion County, Indiana, have recognized the benefits of and invested in GIS technology. After designing a master address database, the GIS Division recognized a need to maintain the database through the GIS. This presentation discusses the set of tools that was developed to maintain the master address database through SDE layer editing. Additionally, the presentation discusses the topic of data integrity and the ways in which ArcGIS technology was used to validate user input.
