Geodatabase: Setting Three Counties' Standards Track: Database Design, Automation, and Management Author(s): Kyle Snyder This presentation will supply background on the geodatabase, what its capabilities are, and how to decide if it is right for your agency. The geodatabase is how Esri stores data utilizing a relational database. The geodatabase can increase speed, flexibility, and help maximize workflow. As part of our standardization and migration process we are working across political jurisdictions to unify data throughout the three counties of Northern Kentucky (Boone, Campbell, and Kenton). This will allow seamless use of our GIS data by partners, subscribers, and customers in the three county area.
