Using ArcGIS to Help Los Angeles Become Bike Friendly Track: Transportation Author(s): Landon Lee, Angel Orozco Advances in mobile computing have spurred the development of tools for improving data collection. This paper presents the development of a digital and bicycling hard copy map using Trimble GPS mobile data collecting devices and ArcGIS. It is a seventy mile round trip ride of the Los Angeles River bicycle trail from the Autry Museum to Long Beach.
