Reengineering TFR Graphics Web System Track: Transportation Author(s): Barry Davis, Chris Knouss Enterprise applications have and are allowing Federal Avaiation Administration to meet their goals of providing information to the public. ArcIMS coupled with ArcSDE and Oracle Spatial have become conerstones of these applications. This paper demostrates several such web-based applications and the impact GIS based technology has made on their functional componenets. These applications consist of the Obstruction Evaluation - Airport Airspace Analysis (OE/AAA) tool, the Temporary Flight Restrictions (TFR) Web site, and the Special Use Airspace (SUA) website. The presentation will outline the concepts, business processes, implementations, and lessons learned during these development efforts.
