 One Click Access to Engineering Drawings in the Field Track: Transportation Author(s): Mohammad Tamoozi, Vince Hamilton This presentation will demonstrate how to use the Esri GPS extension coupled with ArcView to create a mobilized document retrieval system. The GPS extension moves the GIS system with the vehicle to keep the screen centered on the vehicle location. The Engineering drawings are linked to the GIS and can be accessed by using the hyperlink feature in ArcView. The result is a system that provides field personnel with one click access to scanned design drawings.
