 Enterprise Image Solution Integrating ArcIMS With LaserFiche Track: ArcWeb Services Author(s): Rodney Smith The City of Denton has recently created a new tool using ArcIMS to integrate a LaserFiche Image Server Database with an easy to search and retrieve spatial data system. The Engineering Pavement Assessment Project provided the City with pictures of every 20-foot segment of every Denton street. These 951,000 JPEG image files, consisting of 650 gigabytes of data, provided street information with side, down and forward views of each 20 foot street segment. Utilizing the City of Denton's Enterprise GIS mapping system as an interface, each picture was mapped as a geo point in the map and interfaced with the LaserFiche Image Server, providing an enterprise image solution for the City.
