Using ArcGIS to Comply With Megan's Law Track: Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice Author(s): Jim Girvan, Sean McGinnis, Keith Cooke The Prosecutor's Office in Somerset County, New Jersey recently established an ArcGIS extension to be in compliance with the notification criteria of Megan's Law. his paper will discuss how GIS made the process more accurate and more efficient and freed a great deal of time for the office to pursue other matters. Consequently, the Prosecutor's Office had greater confidence in the information it was delivering to the public.
