A Global GIS Database for Food Insecurity and Vulnerability Mapping Track: Sustainable Development and Humanitarian Affairs Author(s): Ergin Ataman A Global GIS Database was developed for mapping and analysis of food insecurity and vulnerability at the global level. It mainly consists of geo-physical thematic maps. It will also include sub-national socio-economic data as it becomes available in standardized formats. This database was developed under the umbrella of the Food Insecurity and Vulnerability Information and Mapping System (FIVIMS) initiative.
