The Challenges of Direct Support to NGA's Military Customer Track: Defense and Intelligence Author(s): Bob Smith NGA has deployed civilian personnel to work directly with their military customers. There are many challenges the agency faces and special considerations are required including personnel preparation, training, as well as system requirements. NGA customers receive the benefit of the agency's GIS expertise, and NGA employees gain valuable insight concerning customer operations.
