Abstract
 Taking Advantage of APDM for Management and Planning Support Track: Petroleum and Pipeline Transmission Author(s): Sidney Santos, Renato Cabral After the implementation of ArcGIS Pipeline Data Model (APDM) at Petrobras, the next step was to design solutions to interact with the APDM to take full advantage of this invaluable optimized data model to serve our business requirements. One solution that will be presented in this paper is related to the Scenario Builder--an application developed in house that relies on the APDM and makes available thermo-hydraulic transmission gas pipeline simulation analysis to different members of the company professionals, engineers, managers, and directors--in such a way that allows even those who are not specialized professionals to use this technology.
