Abstract
![]() Vector Driven Spatial Analysis Track: Modeling Author(s): Charles Donley Opportunities for using vector data in spatial modeling are expanding using ArcGIS extensions. Vector driven spatial analysis can improve accuracy and create more dynamic analyses. This paper will offer guidance on when to use vector data, how to organize the model, and techniques for optimizing the analysis. Sample applications will include impact analysis, site selection, suitability analysis, land use allocation, forecasting, cost estimating, and fiscal analysis. The presentation will draw on six years of experience using the Scenario Constructor and Scenario 360 modules of CommunityViz. Charles Donley Donley & Associates Inc. 509 N.
