Abstract
![]() Using Arc Hydro to Evaluate Salmonid Status and Trends Track: Forestry, Wildlife, and Fisheries Management Author(s): Jeffrey Cowen The need for Subbasin scale pilot programs for status and trend monitoring efforts of anadromous salmonids and their habitat in the Upper Columbia River Subbasin has been identified by NOAA scientists. NOAA Fisheries is working with the Bureau of Reclamation in Boise, Idaho, to develop a database system to manage the various types of biological and habitat data collected in the Upper Columbia Subbasin. This database is being developed with direct linkages to a GIS system that is being developed on the Arc Hydro data model, so that scientists can ask questions of the database based on the hydrography of the basin.
