Abstract
 Fort Bend Independent School District Partners with the City of Rosenberg Track: Education Author(s): Aim�e Goins When representatives of the Thurgood Marshall High School GIS Academy and the City of Rosenberg met at GIS Day 2003 activities in Houston, a partnership was born. The students of the Academy are required to participate in an internship before graduating. The City of Rosenberg was in need of some assistance in creating street centerlines and digitizing subdivision land plans. The solution was to have some GIS Academy students act as non-paid interns through a virtual internship.
