Abstract
Exploring Crime Patterns at Activity Centers Track: Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice Author(s): Gina Misch, Dennis Larson Crime patterns at activity centers (i.e. mall, trolley stop, park, public school, etc.) will be explored by using a variety of methods, with an emphasis on Exploratory Spatial Data Analysis (ESDA) and visualization techniques. The application of spatial analytical tools and methods will help to evaluate patterns and clusters of crime. The best methods to use at different activity centers will also be discussed.
