Abstract
 GeoBase Space Utilization System Track: Defense and Intelligence Author(s): Josh Pope, Joseph Doyle The dynamic nature of Air Force base organizational composition and facility lifecycles offer unique challenges for base community planners, facility managers, and civil engineers. This paper will discuss a set of applications developed with the Davis-Monthan GeoBase. These tools allow the decision makers to better manage organizational realignment issues. The foundation for any intra- or inter-base organizational moves is verified occupancy data and current floor plans. Creating, evaluating, and presenting the compositions and layouts of realignment scenarios are the next critical steps in moving an organization into its new surroundings. This set of applications help decision makers visualize their ideas and successfully turn them into a reality.
