To understand the relationship between the diffusion of environmental contamination and health of residents is the major task of health risk assessment in Taiwan. This study examines the Taiwan EPA data from 2004 to 2005 in this Superfund area. Using the GIS spatial interpolation method to analyze the sample of soil and sediment of dioxin, mercury and pentachlorophenol in Tainan Anshen area, we analyzed the data and created the prediction, standard error, and probability map to examine and predict the range and severity of the contaminated area. Different kriging models are tested to obtain the best model. Based on the geostatistical study and the distribution of contamination, the area neighboring the investigated old petroleum plant is suspected of being polluted. Further detailed health investigation is suggested.
