Abstract
Data Management Techniques Used in the Western Oregon Plan Revision Track: Federal Systems Implementation Author(s): Jeanne Keyes Many datasets and analyses, from external and internal sources, provided information to support the Western Oregon Resource Management Plans. ArcSDE, ArcCatalog, and a Request/Tracking Access Database were used to log and track datasets, analyses, and map products and provide a stable, multiuser environment for sharing data. This paper decribes procedures, tools, and rules associated with day-to-day GIS data management on a large project.
