Abstract
2007 Commodity Flow Survey Mileage Calculation Software Development Track: Transportation Author(s): Stephen Lewis This project develops a new application that meets the critical core functional requirements for the 2007 CFS and improves on the methods used in the 2002 CFS. The finished product shall integrate data processing and mileage calculation functions and combine three core components of the distance calculation - data preprocessing, mileage estimation, and data post-processing in an integrated current generation programming platform and language. This new software tool will be built around the ArcGIS Network Analyst extension.
