Abstract
Delivering Spatial Analysis with ArcGIS Server Track: Application Development Author(s): Brandon Copeland LJA Engineering & Surveying, Inc., is a full-service engineering consulting firm serving both the private and public sectors. GIS has increasingly developed into a critical tool central to LJA's everyday planning and design processes, due in part to the delivery of spatial analysis with ArcGIS Server technology. This paper will highlight three of the firm's projects relying heavily on GIS and the role ArcGIS Server performed in each. Development spotlighted includes an internal map search/retrieval application, an advanced water/wastewater networking analysis project, and a collaborative cartographic environment. These projects demonstrate a diverse array of GIS functionality and web technologies, yet each emphasizes the need for remote delivery of centralized data, analysis, and collaboration ArcGIS Server provides.
