Abstract
A Time and Distance Analysis Showing Kids' Walking Primary School Track: Education Author(s): Merve Gulgonul Our project aims to show how far a primary school child can walk. We wanted to highlight the concepts of time and distance while taking topographical factors consideration. We conducted our project in primary schools near the center of Sanliurfa City. As a slope increases, a child cannot walk as he/she does in a flat area. The outcome (buffer zones surrounding primary schools on walking time and distance) indicate insufficient and chaotic zones. We can make suggestions for those areas. We can also expand our query by increasing our level of detail. One advantage of our project is it can be applied to any city and many similar cases.
