Abstract
 A RFID tag and ubiquitous GIS by mobile GIS ArcPad Track: New Technology and System Integration Author(s): Shigeru Oishi In institution administrative tasks such as public facilities,It explains the case with system construction that makes the field operation related to the maintenance check and the maintenance of operation and maintenance facilities efficiency by using electronic tag (RFID) and portable terminal (PDA). The feature of this system is to be able to recognize facilities (facilities specification, positional, past check record etc.) where abnormality is caused instantaneously by using electronic tag (RFID) that records the facilities management number and the location information when an abnormal location are discovered on the site. Moreover, ArcPAD is used as a mechanism that the position and the arrangement situation of facilities are retrieved and confirmed in portable terminal (PDA).
