Geodatabase Conversion - Challenges, Pitfalls, and Successes Track: Cadastral and Land Records Author(s): C. Cleveland, Steve Schwartzmeier Monroe County, NY (Rochester) recently underwent a major organizational change in the way they handle their tax mapping. For many years the County has been a workstation ArcInfo and coverage data user performing all their edits & map generation in a customized environment. In the fall of 2004 a major undertaking was put into motion to convert the County to an "out of the box" ArcGIS and geodatabase solution.
