Abstract
Enhanced Predictive GIS Search Capability Track: Defense and Intelligence Author(s): Robert Atkins Northrop Grumman TASC has enhanced the predictive analysis capabilities of the Refined Search Prioritizer (RSP) by tightly integrating it with the MetaCartaT ArcGIS extension for geographic text searches. The RSP tool provides predictive temporal algorithms to determine likely locations of items of interest, while the MetaCarta extension provides the intelligent textual search capabilities to extract critical information. The extracted text from MetaCarta is used as a data source to train the RSP algorithms. The integration of these products provides improved capabilities for analysts to search for items of importance in the field and to generate detailed probability maps for operations and decision support. This paper describes recent research, development and integration work conducted by Northrop Grumman TASC in this area.
