Abstract
Mapping Hurricane Katrina with GIS Track: Modeling Author(s): Constantin Andronache, Rudolph Hon, Barbara Mento ArcGIS is used to document the evolution of devastating Hurricane Katrina in the New Orleans area in 2005. We illustrate environmental changes caused by this natural disaster, and the impact on economy and society. The project shows how GIS combined with other information analysis tools can process complex datasets.
