Abstract
 Developing a GIS for Kars Sarikamis Winter Tourism Center Track: Business GIS Author(s): Serb�lent �cal, Nur�nnisa Usul One of Turkey's winter tourism centers, Kars-Sarikamis, is studied for its great winter tourism potential with a different approach using GIS. The aim of the study is to integrate GIS and a decision analysis technique for ski resort suitability evaluation in Kars-Sarikamis. A procedure is developed to produce georeferenced ski resort information based on a database composed of all environmental and urban features. For this purpose, the MCDA (Multiple Criteria Decision Aid) method is used as the decision analysis technique. Then, the results of the analyses are presented.
