Supporting Conservation Decision Making from Regions to Parcels Track: Ecology and Conservation Author(s): Patrick Crist, Jessica Dyson, Pat Comer Most conservation planning activity has been conducted for large regions often without adequate methods for implementing the plans at the site level. We have worked with a variety of partners throughout the Western Hemisphere to develop approaches and GIS tools for supporting multi-scale conservation planning and dynamic implementation. We will present the approaches, tools, and case studies to illustrate how conservation planning can be more effectively linked to site implementation.
