The IGI&S program is the Army's consolidated program for Installation and Environmental (I&E) geospatial information, data services, policy and guidance, outreach, and information technology. The program assures that Army geospatial assets are managed and promoted in a manner that creates a common capability, promotes a spirit of collaboration, and supports enhanced installation management and planning in support of the Army's defense mission. The presentation will focus on the following components of the IGI&S Program: Army IGI&S policy and guidance, Army IGI&S geospatial data services, Army IGI&S information systems, and Army IGI&S leadership. The presentation will also present a summary of the challenges faced by the Army IGI&S program and the efforts that are being taken to address them.
