Abstract
Building Predictive Analysis Models for Global Disaster Management Track: Disaster Management and Emergency Response Author(s): David Woolery Immediately after a natural disaster humanitarian aid in all forms is donated by government, relief organizations and private business and citizens. Managing the resources effectively is essential to saving life and preventing post-disaster fallout. The US Army Civil Affairs Brigade sees civil infrastructure globally and engages government and non-government agencies to fill the gaps in a region. The goal of the Civil Affairs model is to delineate the needs of a village, state, province, country, or region in the event of a natural disaster and forecast the resource demands hours, days, weeks, and months in advance.
