Abstract
Horry County, SC: Integration Enterprise GIS, CAMA, Addressing, and Planning Track: Cadastral and Land Records Author(s): Tim Oliver, Jim Kiles In 2006, Horry County South Carolina contracted with a leading CAMA and GIS consulting firm to implement a solution that utilizes a GIS Centric Land Records data model. Using ArcObjects, ArcGIS and it's 9.2 archieving functionality, the project eliminates data duplication, data entry, for features features such as parcel maintenance, city, agricultural delineation, zoning, situs address; and provides graphic tax year replication, native ArcEngine CAMA spatial analysis viewing to live SDE layers; field collection using GPS technology; and duplication between Planning and Development, 911 Addressing, and the Register of Deeds. This session will discuss the lessons our project approach and lessions learned.
