Streamlining Real Estate Services with Custom Development in ArcGIS Desktop

The Milwaukee based office of CB Richard Ellis recognizes the value of GIS in the day to day, commercial based real estate brokerage services. For years, a small team of GIS orientated staff used Esri desktop core products and extensions to provide analysis for sales associates. Due to increasing demand and short delivery time expectations, the GIS personnel recognized the need to customize their application for greater efficiency. In an effort to achieve this, the CBRE sought the advice and expertise of Geographic Marketing Advantage, LLC (GMA) and Applied Data Consultants, Inc (ADC) to develop a customized GIS toolset incorporating both spatial analysis and demographic reporting within the ArcGIS Desktop platform. This presentation will examine the company's needs and the solution developed to reduce delivery time resulting in better customer service.
