Wildboar have no natural predators and number are increasing in Korea.

The objective of this study was to develop a habitat suitability model of wildboar, and model was based on the concepts of Multi-Criteria Evaluation and GIS. The process of the suitability modeling could be divided into three steps. First, GIS database for the modeling was collected by using wildboar location data in 1997 during 2003. Second, GIS database related to environmental factors affecting the habitat use and availability of wildboar. Finally, a multiple-criteria evaluation was performed as the final step towards a wildboar habitat suitability model.
