Abstract
 Introduction of ArcGIS in a Municipality Track: Surveying Author(s): Johan Häggqvist, Tomas Sandström, Thomas Sandstrom Trelleborg city in the very south of Sweden have used a new system for implementation of survey data to their new ArcGIS system. The complete system is new for us, leaving the old file-based Auto-Ka system and going to a complete ArcGIS/ArcSDE database system. This required some thinking, both for adding all the data and also for continuously works from survey to administration. For the survey work, from the measurement down to the database, we selected the survey CAD system Topocad that has a very direct forward line from the survey on the field all the way to the ArcSDE.
