Abstract
The Web-Based National Guard Industrial Hygiene Information System (NGIHIS) Track: Application Development Author(s): Steven Miller, Kyler Deutmeyer The Army National Guard Bureau's Industrial Hygiene Information System provides NGB industrial hygienists with two interactive Web-based map applications. The first, Lead Sampling, allows users to view, enter, edit, and report on lead samples taken within NGB facilities housing indoor firing ranges. Hygienists access detailed sample data by selecting installations graphically or searching by installation ID, facility name, or lead concentration classification. Laboratory test reports (PDFs), as well as photos, video clips, and other documents associated with sample sets or individual samples, can be uploaded, viewed, and downloaded. The second Web map application, Design Review, allows hygienists to review and comment on building designs at various design phases for planned structures. Hygienists add, edit, and delete designs, as well as enter and update review "due dates" for structures' design phases. Users can also upload, view, and download design drawings, related documents, photos, and video clips for each structure's design phases.
