Abstract
Creating a Multi-user Data Editing Environment with ArcGIS Server Track: State and Local Government Author(s): Keith Massie, Jeffrey Albee Jackson County, Oregon currently maintains a Web site to access spatial data via the internet. In the summer of 2005, Jackson County had described a need to edit their GIS data via a Web interface. Jackson County's GIS staff identified the need for simplified, topologically correct, workflow-based feature and attribute editing of City limits and Zoning. Jackson County partnered with AMEC Earth & Environmental to develop an ArcGIS Server based data editing solution. Jackson County staff provided the basic shell Web site and AMEC provided the application programming to enable feature and attribute editing. Upon completion AMEC shifted management of the application to Jackson County's GIS staff.
