Many countries strive to reduce the damage of forest ecosystem. They study and assess the impacts, vulnerability and adaptation from changing climate. The studies of Korean forest's impacts by climate change have actively conducted. However, those of vulnerability, in fact, are deficient. Therefore, we select the model modified by china to apply to vulnerability assessment of Korean forest. And ArcGIS-based CEVSA model is suitable to Korean forest, because it is possible to get input data and technique that are required. Also, it has advantage to be able to show the shifting process of vegetation distribution and ecosystem structure by climate change. However, needing to verify the established empirical formula for CEVSA model and to enhance the accuracy of result with satellite imagery, further studies are asked.
