Abstract
Developing Web Services Using ArcGIS Server Advanced Track: Application Development Author(s): Rob Bailey Charlotte-Mecklenburg Utilities (CMU) is in the process of developing a suite of applications that use web services built on ArcGIS to deliver data to end users. These web services provide a variety of functions from simple map services to integration with our Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) for document viewing and retrieval. This paper will cover the overall approach as well as lessons learned during design, development, migration and deployment of the Web services.
