Abstract
National Hydrography Dataset Add-ons and Applications Track: Water Resources Author(s): Thomas Dewald This panel discussion will cover progress made in linking water-related information to the National Hydrography Dataset (NHD) and extending NHD functionality by integrating it with the National Elevation Dataset and Watershed Boundary Dataset to produce topographic catchments, flow volume and velocity, and other value-added attributes. The panel will consist of a moderator and panel members representing the experiences of EPA, USGS, USFS and state cooperators. Each member will describe tools, process, problems, successes, and recommendations. Attendees will better understand efforts to link data to the underlying NHD and to extend the NHD through geospatial products such as NHDPlus.
