Abstract
A Prototype Production Model for Implementing Cartographic Representations with ArcGIS 9.2 Desktop Track: Cartography and Map Production Author(s): Peter Kasianchuk This presentation will show the results of a research project completed for the University of Redlands International Masters in GIS Program. The main goal of the project was to evaluate how cartographic representations could be used to enhance an existing (i.e., pre-ArcGIS 9.2) geodatabase and improve the production of a test set of previously published maps. The seminar will discuss the cartographic representation techniques that were used, and provide a summary of the benefits achieved through their implementation.
