The New School District Demographics (SDDS) GIS Site

One of the greatest challenge for the National Center for Education Statistics' (NCES) mapping Web site is the growing demand for accessing to education, social,economic and demographics data from education research community, data users and the public. In the late August, 2007, NCES began to redesign the SDDS Web site to meet two main goals: more efficient accessing schools and school districts data with ease; and, collaborate with other government agencies in case of emergency and research.
