Web 3D Visualization with GeoVRML
Track: New Technology and System Integration

This study examines the three-dimensional GIS which consist of database construction from topology data and visualization scheme in Internet GIS environment using GeoVRML technology. The result of this study are as follows. First, 3D GIS is more useful system to manage and visualize 3D real world data than 2D GIS. Second, Dynamic interactive 3D visualization more useful than static map in internet GIS environment. Third, 3D GIS has great significance in many application areas, as in land, military, natural environment, city, facility management, and other environments.
