In today's modern Air Force, the Geospatial warrior has become critical to all forms of the military's expanded role in a highly technological ever changing and fast paced world. By enabling this warfighter with tools that allow them to Collect, Access, and Map all portions of the modern war fighting environment. Collection tools such as Survey and Map grade GPS equipment allow the collection of pertinent entities, Assessment tools such as the Software and Hardware to accurately access spatial relationships among these entities. Mapping tools to serve out these assessments allow Command and Control structures to utilize the information in a timely fashion. The Air Force has named this program GeoBase. The GeoBase programs is three tiered, GeoReach with data based upon remotely sensed information, Expeditionary GeoBase ground proofing that information and Garrison GeoBase with permanent personnel to keep the information accurate and relevant.
