Web-Based Metadata Editor for ArcSDE

CH2M Hill and Air Force Air Mobility Command (AMC) have developed a Web-based metadata editing interface to the ArcSDE component of ArcServer, facilitating the update and maintenance of metadata by a large pool of data stewards. The tool incorporates access control, so uses only have access to edit the features they are responsible for. Using this tool, AMC plans to shift the workload for metadata maintenance from the limited pool of mapping experts out to the broader community of AMC data owners.
