What's Going on at FRA?

This presentation will go over all of the GIS efforts that are currently underway within the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA). There have been many changes within FRA and there has been a lot of GIS activity within the whole agency. This presentation will highlight four elements that involve GIS and railroads. The first element will review current spatial data that is being maintained within FRA. The second element will discuss the flowing of the waybill. The third element will show the multiple spatial tasks being done within FRA. The final element will go over FRA's GIS Web site and show how the different disciplines within FRA are being represented.
