The study will be conducted to investigate ecologically sound techniques for development and management of urban forests in Korea. Demands for urban forests are rapidly growing in the country and specific policy, planning and management skills are needed to cope with the demands.

This is aimed to assess and monitor urban forests using geomatics and various analytical methods including 3D digital information.Expected outputs of the projects will be techniques for urban ecological network, design and restoration of urban forests, urban forest information system.
