Long Term Recovery is a community partnership that was formed in January 2005 between not-for-profit, Red Cross, United Way and faith based organizations to coordinate local resources in the time of disaster. These organizations strive to address the immediate needs (food, water, ice, shelter) of those most affected by disaster. Long Term Recovery utilizes GIS in planning, implementation and post disaster events.
