GIS System and Integration Design: The Bottom Line

Anchorage Water and Wastewater Utility has undertaken a project to evaluate its asset systems data design in order to streamline workflows, reduce double entry and improve integration between GIS, financial, customer service, and work management systems. The driver for this effort is AWWU's desire to increase efficiencies to be able to handle an increasing capital program while maintaining current staffing levels. The expected cost savings and other business benefits for the project will be discussed during this workshop.
