Integrating SRP and Army Mapper
Track: Defense and Intelligence
Author(s): Ashley Talley, Susan King

The Sustainable Range Program (SRP) is the Army's overall approach for managing and operating US Army ranges and training lands to ensure long-term viability and utility. The SRP community needs easy access to Army-wide geospatial and non-geospatial data that is collected and maintained by SRP and installation staffs. SRP users require the ability to perform routine analysis and create basic mapping products in support of training operations, land management and range modernization on Army SRP installations and training sites. The Army Installation Geospatial Information and Services (IGI&S) program is building the Army's geospatial system (Army Mapper (AM))to provide the central data repository and enterprise application framework necessary to facilitate these SRP requirements. This presentation will discuss the integration of SRP tools into the Army Mapper's Web Map Viewer on the ArcGIS Server platform; providing users the ability to easily, quickly, and seamlessly query, display and export needed information.
